For ages I have tried to get a photo of my cat Persik (Russian word for 'peach') but she is impossible to get a shot at. She is scared of camera and looks away or just runs away
But today I got one quite good one. She was too sleepy and too lazy to run away from me.

So here she is, napping near my laptop.

My old camera died three days ago. It was Sony DSC-T3, silver, compact and very easy to use. Unfortunately, Sony stopped releasing this model some years ago, and I don't like modern T-series models.

Today I joined 21 st century and bought wireless keyboard and mouse for my computer. I needed to replace the old keyboard and mouse on my backup desktop PC. These items work great and work well over my room.
I thought that they wouldn't work from across my room, but they worked well. And all the extra buttons do are very useful and convenient.

This week has been crazy, quite possibly my busiest one yet since I moved to Project Management Departmentnd join their incredible team!

I really love working for M+F Zander, everyday is a world of unpredictable events and I'm surounded by people who do their work with genuine passion. Not to mention, it's the only place in the world where I can have legitimate conversations about everything and recieve answers even on my most stupid questions in the world.

One of the coolest things about my job is the fact that I get to be part of a team of people who help put together challenging projects all around the world. Today you are having business trip to Singapore, tomorrow you will be somewhere in Africa.
I hear there's some scary stuff going down throughout the world recently, have any of you guys noticed anything? Personally, the scariest thing I've seen this week involves a shutdown of five of our projects. I hope it will be all of it.

I've been in Belgium since June 15. It's good to be home at last.
I was promoted at work. It wasn't a completely unexpected event. Of course I 'm glad to get better salary but now I don't have to travel a lot. That's bad. I adore visiting new places.

I'm temporarily staying at my parents' house and looking for a flat to rent. Internet connection isn't good here.

Last weekend was great. Theodosia and Crimea are terrific places.
Also, on Saturday, happened 'event of the year in the world of European music' known as Eurovision song contest. Now it's a past topic. For the last days many words were written.

Briefly about some details:

- Belguim wasn't in the final.
- The winner is singer from Serbia.
- This year's contest was boring.

ICQ?

Something happened with the ICQ today. For some strange reason it was impossible to log in into ICQ account. Only the error "Wrong password or ICQ account" appeared. Nobody knows for sure what happened.

I use ICQ only at work. I just don't like the online messegers.

Some people from my work invited me to visit Crimea this weekend. The only problem is that Crimea is part of Ukraine and I'm not sure that my Russian visa will allow me to visit this country. I need to contact Belgian consulate.

After almost two years and a half in Russia, I'm transfered to another place again. I will have a new place to live in a new city, it's very facinating. I'm not sure I'll have an Internet connection there, I even don't know where I will live. My boss said that he didn't know yet which country they would send me to. Probably it will be Sweden. Now I have two months to complete all work, pack all my stuff and find way to move it somehow to Brussels.

I don't know the reason for my transfer. I've just come back from my two week's holiday and haven't caught up with the latest news in the company.

Well.
I’m back from Volgagrad. The trip was fun, especially the part at the airport when they searched me because something in my luggage made a funny shape on the X-Ray machine. It was my pack of lollipops. My ears always ache during the takeoff and lollipops are the best cure.

Volgograd isn't very different from Moscow. Only smaller and warmer. I saw the famous The Motherland Calls statue. Mamayev Kurgan gave me shivers because history became so alive there. I'll post photos tomorrow or in a couple of days.

I just heard that Vibeke Stene decided to leave the band Tristania. She was the main reason I listened to Tristania because her voice is amazing. It's sad. I hope this won't be the last I hear of her.
